Guest Blog: Check out the GHR Experience!

May 13, 2011

Tonight’s guest blog post comes to you from Glass Hammer Racing, an awesome combo of USAC race team (with driver Shannon McIntosh) and racing resource that aims to promote and support young women in motorsports. Started by a longtime attendee and friend of the Winter & May Indy Tweetups, Greg Gaich, with the marketing department now run by fellow WIT/MIT friend Kelsey Minier, GHR has been growing by leaps and bounds in the past year! Check ’em out!

Hey MIT fans!

The month of May isn’t just fun for adults!

Do you have a young daughter between the ages of 10 and 16 who is interested in racing too? Or maybe one that you’d like to try to get more involved in motorsports?

Glass Hammer Racing  would like to announce a fun, challenging experience for those of you with young daughters! If you are attending the May Indy Tweetup on May 26th you might also want to consider signing your daughters up for the GHR Experience on the morning of Sunday, May 22nd at Fastimes Indoor Karting (home of the Fanimation Grand Prix!). This is a great chance for young girls to be taught some valuable karting skills by female Road to Indy race car driver, Shannon McIntosh.

The GHR Experience is a great starting point for young girls to learn some skills and confidence to just have fun in a kart, or to help advance their future career behind the wheel of a racecar. You never know, one of them could end up in the Indianapolis 500!

Don’t let your daughters miss out on some month of May fun with Glass Hammer Racing’s GHR Experience! Please visit our website for more information and how to sign up! www.ghrexperience.org

We hope to see you there!
